Eight new positive COVID-19 cases reported in Douglas County

Douglas County, Ore. – Douglas County health officials report, as of 12:00 pm, Monday, March 15, 2021, there are eight people with new positive test results and one presumptive case that has been moved to positive with a positive test result to report since Sunday’s noon case update.
The total number of cases (people with positive test results and presumptive) in Douglas County is now at 2,721. Currently, there are TWELVE (12) Douglas County COVID-19 patients that are being hospitalized, eight locally and four out-of-the-area.
Currently, DPHN is supporting 180 cases in isolation, as well as another 432 contacts in quarantine in Douglas County. Isolation is recommended for confirmed and presumptive cases, quarantine is recommended for contacts of confirmed or presumptive cases. Currently, there are 612 total persons and cases in isolation or quarantine.
