Nine new cases, drive-thru clinic for testing Tuesday

Douglas County, Ore. – Douglas County report, as of 12:00 pm Today, Monday, January 4, 2021, there are nine people with new positive test results to report since Sunday’s noon case update.
The total number of cases (people with positive test results and presumptive) in Douglas County is now at 1,456. Currently, there are five Douglas County COVID-19 patients that are being hospitalized, four locally and one out-of-the-area.
Currently, DPHN is supporting 132 cases in isolation, as well as another 177 contacts in quarantine in Douglas County. Isolation is recommended for confirmed and presumptive cases, quarantine is recommended for contacts of confirmed or presumptive cases. Currently, staff is supporting an astounding 310 total contacts in isolation or quarantine.
The next drive-through testing clinic will be Tuesday, January 5, 2021, in Roseburg.
