Umpqua Community College presents Annual Student Art Exhibition

ROSEBURG, Ore., — The Art Gallery is proud to present “Renew / Reconnect / Reflect: UCC’s Annual Student Art Exhibition” by UCC students on display from May 15 – June 7, 2023. A reception will be held on Thursday, May 18, from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Visual fine art achievement awards will be presented during the reception, along with faculty reflections on the academic year.
Each year, Umpqua Community College presents a juried student art exhibition. It is held every spring and showcases work from students enrolled in UCC’s Fine Art classes during the current academic year. It is the highlight of The Art Gallery’s exhibition season.
“This longstanding tradition of the Annual Student Art Exhibition is sure to impress. Our faculty is thrilled to present the exceptional work they have seen throughout the 2022-2023 academic year. Art is change. Creating this work is a chance for our students to redefine themselves within it. Collectively, the works on display will highlight the exceptional abilities of these emerging student artists,” said Tiffany Hokanson, UCC gallery director and art instructor.
This exhibition will feature the best of the best artworks in studio arts, specifically ceramics, basic design, drawing, and painting.
