Seven new cases, drive-thru testing clinic Tuesday

Douglas County, Ore. – Douglas County health officials report, as of 12:00 pm, Saturday, January 2, 2021, there are seven people with new positive test results to report since Friday’s noon case update.
The total number of cases (people with positive test results and presumptive) in Douglas County is now at 1,436. Currently, there are six Douglas County COVID-19 patients that are being hospitalized, five locally and one out-of-the-area.
Currently, DPHN is supporting 142 cases in isolation, as well as another 203 contacts in quarantine in Douglas County. Isolation is recommended for confirmed and presumptive cases, quarantine is recommended for contacts of confirmed or presumptive cases. Currently, staff is supporting an astounding 345 total contacts in isolation or quarantine.
There will be a drive-through testing clinic Tuesday, January 5, 2021, in Roseburg.
